Since the late 1980s Michèle Fuirer has specialised in working in the museum and gallery sector to engage audiences in informal learning through modern and contemporary art. She has devised and led art workshops,
projects and training for a wide ranging audience, working directly in response to exhibitions and collections of modern and contemporary art. Groups worked with include early learners,
families, adults in formal and informal education, teachers, schools and local authorities. Michèle has written and presented research on gallery learning at a number of conferences in the UK.
