Michèle est diplômée en littérature anglaise et en beaux-arts de l’université d’Exeter, Angleterre ; d’une maîtrise en beaux-arts du Birmingham Institute of Art and Design et d’un doctorat du département d’études culturelles contemporaines de l’université de Birmingham, RU.
Outre sa pratique régulière en studio, Michèle a travaillé professionnellement pendant plus de vingt-cinq ans en tant qu’éducatrice dans des galeries et des musées d’art contemporain au Royaume-Uni, notamment CGP London, The Serpentine, The Hayward et The Whitechapel Gallery. Elle s’est spécialisée dans l’animation d’ateliers, de projets et de programmes basés sur l’inclusion sociale et l’élargissement de la participation à l’art contemporain. De 2000 à 2019, Michele a travaillé à la Tate Modern et Tate Britain, à Londres, en tant qu’artiste éducatrice, puis en tant que conservatrice des programmes publics.
Des expositions individuelles et collectives ont eu lieu au Royaume-Uni et en Europe.
Michèle has a B.A. Combined Honours in English and Fine Art from Exeter University; an M.A. in Fine Art from Birmingham Institute of Art and Design and an M.Phil. from the Department for Contemporary Cultural Studies at Birmingham University.
In addition to her regular studio practice, Michèle worked professionally for over twenty-five years as an educator in galleries and museums of contemporary art in the UK, including CGP London, The Serpentine, The Hayward and The Whitechapel Galleries. She specialised in leading gallery workshops, projects and programmes based on social inclusion and widening participation in contemporary art. From 2000 to 2019 Michele worked at Tate Modern, London, as an artist educator and later as a curator in Public Programmes.
Solo and group exhibitions have taken place in UK and Europe.
