New Flat Bird

The Last Great Bird of the Republic

The latest Flat Bird has emerged! It is themed in fancy red, white and blue fabrics and it has a fancy title : ‘The Last Great Bird of the Republic’ . There are some connections here to the ending of things and a lament for the passing of ideas about democracy in action.  This may be the last in the series of Flat Birds  – a project which has been over a decade in the making – or maybe new birds will emerge in time.  Watch this space!

It’s Open Studios time again!

The wonderful Thames Side Studios in Woolwich, London, will be open from 15th to 16th June, 12 – 6 pm both days.
I am inviting people to browse around in Unit 0- 50 where there will be a selection of recent work and some old favourites.  This is a great opportunity to meet and chat about the work.
